Position Overview
As Parts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, profitability, and top-tier customer service. You will lead a team of parts professionals and work closely with the service and sales departments to support dealership operations and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage parts inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to optimize pricing and availability.
- Supervise and train parts department staff to maximize efficiency and customer service.
- Work closely with service and sales teams to meet department needs.
- Implement effective stocking strategies to reduce obsolescence and improve turnover rates.
- Ensure a smooth and timely parts ordering process for internal and retail customers.
- Monitor and optimize parts department financial performance to meet dealership goals.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer programs and dealership policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for technicians and retail customers.
