Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a strong team.
- Develop and monitor budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase customer engagement.
- Oversee inventory management and control food costs to maximize profitability.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure menu offerings meet customer preferences and seasonal trends.
- Manage shift schedules effectively to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of catering operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
