What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control - Food Safety Monitor position at Walt's Wholesale Meats?
Walt's Meats seeks an individual to fill a full-time Quality Control/Food Safety Monitor position in our Food Safety Department. Must be reliable, on time daily, and can work six days a week (Monday-Saturday), 12 hours a day as needed. Previous slaughter environment experience is recommended. Job duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Supervises the Quality Control Functions/activities of a project or its parts, including quality control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records
- Assesses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on site
- Evaluates the qualification of inspection personnel
- Overlooks HACCP programs and its implementation
- Supervises inspections, reports, and the documentation issued by inspectors. Collection and Filing of the required Quality Records.
- Ensures employer's products meet acceptable quality standards
- Provides feedback on the development or implementation of new programs and projects
- Filing and daily organization of Quality Control documents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
