Position Overview:
As a Porter, you will play an essential role in maintaining the dealership's parking lot organization and ensuring smooth vehicle flow. Your duties will include monitoring parked vehicles, assisting with customer vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups, and supporting various dealership operations. This position requires attention to detail, safe driving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage Vehicle Flow: Oversee vehicle movement in the Service Drive, Service Shop, Car Wash, and dealership parking lot.
- Assist Service Advisors: Deliver vehicles to Technician stalls, stage completed vehicles, assist with the Car Wash, and follow dealership display standards.
- Customer Vehicle Handling: Ensure customer vehicles are clean and ready for return after service.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Clean parking lots, service stalls, and vehicle areas when needed.
- Support Service: Field customer requests and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a car porter or in a similar role preferred.
- Driving Requirements: Must have held a valid drivers license for at least two years and have a clean driving record.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Focus: Ability to handle customer vehicles with care and integrity.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual.
