Position Overview:
As a Porsche Shop Foreman, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring optimal technician productivity and quality repairs. You'll guide technicians through challenging tasks, ensuring that every vehicle repair and service meets factory standards and customer expectations. Your leadership will drive team motivation and productivity while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency, utilizing online work instructions, technical bulletins, and ongoing training.
• Oversee the technician training program, including identifying strengths and weaknesses, and ensuring progress through mentorship and skill development.
• Provide technicians with the latest technical information, tools, and equipment to ensure the proper performance of repairs.
• Supervise all aspects of technician performance, including quality control and productivity.
• Conduct diagnostic test drives and assist technicians with difficult issues.
• Manage technician schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for all shifts and overseeing PTO and training.
• Review daily production reports, addressing any concerns regarding underperforming technicians.
• Monitor and maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores, ensuring vehicles are repaired to factory standards.
• Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and technical certifications.
• Keep the shop safe, clean, and organized in accordance with company standards.
• Control tool and equipment inventory, ordering necessary supplies as needed.
• Lead technician meetings and communicate relevant updates and best practices.
• Report all safety concerns to management and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and comply with all industry regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
As Shop Foreman, you will oversee the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the repair shop's daily operations, ensuring alignment with company policies and resolving issues as they arise.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

• At least 5 years of related experience and/or training with the Porsche brand or equivalent experience.
• Computer literate, with knowledge of relevant software and tools.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety procedures, and operational instructions.
• Proficient in creating reports, correspondence, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to present information effectively to teams and customers.
