We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cell Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, inspecting products, and ensuring high-quality drill bits are manufactured according to industry standards. Extensive training provided to all qualified applicants.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials when needed (50 lbs).
- Basic mathematical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor grinders, and used in drill bit production.
- Perform precision cutting, grinding, and finishing of drill bits to meet specifications.
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth production operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
- Work with engineers and supervisors to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
- Document production data and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts
- Monday to Thursday
- Rotating weekly 1st and 2nd shift
- Overtime possible based on business needs
