We are seeking a Used Car Manager who excels in inventory management, sales staff development, and desking deals. What We’re Looking For:
Leadership Skills: A self-starter who thrives on taking
initiative without needing constant oversight. You should have the drive to
uphold and enforce dealership processes and procedures while fostering a
positive team culture.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within
the automotive industry is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven
ability to manage inventory, train and motivate a sales team, and successfully
close deals.
Problem-Solver: We’re not looking for a "desk
jockey." This role requires someone ready to roll up their sleeves, lead
by example, and take charge of challenges head-on.
Process-Oriented: Strong commitment to following and
maintaining the dealer group’s established systems and strategies to ensure
efficiency and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Optimize and maintain an ideal used
car inventory, including vehicle sourcing, pricing, and turn rate.
Sales Team Development: Train, mentor, and empower the sales
staff to achieve individual and team goals.
Desking Deals: Work hands-on with the sales team to
structure and close deals that are beneficial to both the customer and the
dealership.
Leadership: Drive performance through strong leadership,
accountability, and a passion for achieving results.
Process Adherence: Ensure the team adheres to the
dealership's policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of
customer satisfaction.
