Role Description
The Dallas office of Walters Balido & Crain is seeking attorneys looking to expand their experience in civil appellate matters, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation. Ideal candidates will have strong research and writing skills, the ability to effectively advise and represent a diverse client base in various courts, and a Texas law license. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with our managing partner and gain hands-on experience in complex legal matters.

Responsibilities:
- Exceptional research, writing, and briefing skills
- Case assessment for liability, loss, and damages
- Manage client reporting, billing, budgeting, and case management requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Drafting and responding to discovery
- Conducting depositions
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local rules
- Meet or exceed monthly billable hour goals
- Occasional travel
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Texas
- Civil litigation/insurance defense experience preferred
- Able to work with a team in a collaborative environment or independently
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience:
- Litigation: 1-5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TX Bar License (Required)
