Plant Production Associate Job Description:
The Plant Production Associate assists the Section Grower and Lead Grower in achieving the highest quality standards for plant production in the greenhouses at Walters Gardens.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control moisture levels, temperature, and light in the greenhouses to optimize plant growth
- Assist in the development and implementation of fertilization schedules
- Maintain accurate records of crop production, including yield data and quality metrics
- Collaborate with the Section Grower and Lead Grower to identify and address any issues related to sanitation, pests, and diseases
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in horticulture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of greenhouse operations and plant care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
