In this integral role, you'll not only spearhead sales within your district but also remain a hands-on leader, actively engaging with the Wedding Specialist team and clients to set the benchmark for sales excellence. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Sales, your mandate will include mentoring and coaching a high-performing sales team, fostering an environment for growth and success. Your primary objective is to bolster the region's sales achievements while cultivating the skills and talents of your team.

What You’ll Do:
- Manages the entire sales process from responding to inquiries to booking
- Responds quickly to inquiries by email, phone, and texting
- Property Tours of our venues within the region with potential clients is a key part of this role
- Persistent and skilled negotiator
- Traveling to all venues within the region as needed is required
- Creates contracts and takes initial payments
- Documenting thoroughly in the CRM system to maintain a log of daily sales activities
- Communication skills both verbal and written must be excellent
- Test strategies with leads. Identifies and reinforces the best approaches for getting leads to book a tour. Creates a sense of urgency with lead response time
- Ensures completion of grading each venue on a bi-monthly basis for Curb Appeal by the most stringent prospect standards
- Evaluate Weekly Sales Reports to Identify opportunity in WS performance
- Execute WS field training by taking them to district venues and thoroughly reviewing sales strategies at each property
- Available for all questions and approvals needed from WS team
- Active coaching in the field, shadowing tours and being shadowed on tours
- Completing consistent check ins and 1:1 meeting with WS team
- Work with Associate Vice President of Sales to evaluate district leads and campaigns needed to boost sales. Both roles should work together to strategize, test, and train sales techniques and new product rollouts.
- Showcases: DSM will attend each event to support the district and work with the AVPS and other Department Heads to ensure the completion of all showcase tasks and the overall success of the event.
- Manage “Sales Information” folder in the drive to ensure all materials presented are up to date.
- Maintain products and settings in our CRM to ensure accuracy of offerings are up to date.
- Assist AVPS and District Team with planning annual Sales Goals and Budgets.
- Own hiring with keeping job posts up to date, screening resumes, and interviewing sales talent for the district.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in achieving strong sales results & expertise in customer service
- Strong management experience fostering their professional development and ensuring they uphold our service standards.
- College degree or equivalent experience will be considered
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 15lbs and walking/standing for 8-12 hours
- Submit to a background & drug test, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time, Flexible Schedule: must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- Base Uncapped Commission: Earning potential $65,000 - $90,000 annually
- Quarterly Bonus opportunities based on sales performance
