The Regional Sales Specialist is a dynamic, hands-on role responsible for driving revenue and supporting sales enablement across the Walters Hospitality portfolio. This individual will travel to venues across Texas (and occasionally other markets) to lead sales efforts, provide high-touch support during staffing transitions, and support key training initiatives alongside the VP of Sales.
This role does not have direct reports but will serve as a sales leader by example—bringing energy, expertise, and excellence to every sales interaction while championing our discovery process and core values.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the lead seller at venues when support is needed—jumping in to conduct tours, close leads, and drive bookings in partnership with venue and regional teams.
- Support new venue ramp-ups, sales transitions, or high-impact initiatives by providing short-term on-site sales coverage.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales on sales enablement efforts including in-person coaching, process implementation, and adoption of tools and best practices.
- Lead by example, representing the Walters brand with warmth, professionalism, and hospitality in all client-facing experiences.
- Monitor and maintain accurate data in the CRM system ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting on sales activities.
- Assist in executing regional outreach strategies and support local marketing initiatives as needed.
- Support training for new team members and reinforce discovery and booking standards across the sales organization.
- Provide regular feedback to the VP of Sales on market trends, process gaps, and performance improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, healthcare, event venues, or senior living.
- Strong understanding of relational and consultative selling—comfortable building rapport quickly and confidently closing business.
- Must live in Texas and be open to frequent travel (up to 75%) across venue locations.
- Demonstrated success working independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
- High energy, strong initiative, and professional judgment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with CRM tools and virtual collaboration tools.
- Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 15lbs and walking/standing for 8-12 hours
- Submit to a background check, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time, Flexible Schedule: must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- $70,000 - $85,000 Base plus uncapped commissions ($90k - $100k OTE)
