What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Insurance Biller-EXPERIENCED position at Walters Surgical Associates?
Person would be responsible for:
*Submitting claims to the appropriate insurance carrier
*Verifying patient insurance coverage, deductibles, copays, etc
*Reviewing and troubleshooting rejected claims
*Post payments, process recoups, and refunds
*Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided
*Conduct audits
*Work with insurance carriers during reviews
*Respond to patient billing questions
*Answer phones, fax documents, make, edit, cancel appointments as needed
*Must be familiar with Medicare and Medicaid
*Must be familiar with General Surgery billing
*Must be able to use a computer and navigate the internet
