Walthall Oil Company, a third-generation family-owned fuel and oil distributor is looking for a Distributor Sales Professional to represent themselves and our company to their best abilities in the commercial fuel and oil sectors. As one of the top Distributors in the country, we’re excited to expand our team in the South Florida market. The ideal candidate will generate new business by cold-calling, via phone, email, in the field and through scheduled meetings to generate new sales. This candidate should be able to balance supporting existing customers and bringing on new customers in the industrial, commercial, trucking, manufacturing, and automotive sectors.
Responsibilities - Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
· Customer business development
· Consistent sales calls on a specific area of responsibility and customer base; i.e.- Miami, Florida and surrounding markets
· Implement our manufacturer's programs and extend their oil products and reliability services to customers and prospects
· Organize sales territory and developing and executing territory sales strategies
· Review and track sales volumes and report field activities to management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis via company CRM
· Coordinate between customers and operations to improve customer/company relations
· Ethically and professionally represent Walthall Oil Company, our products, programs & services to customers and prospects

Job Requirements:

· The petroleum industry is rapidly changing, thus candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced, opportunity-filled work environment
· Verifiable work history and previous success building and maintaining professional relationships
· Being a highly-motivated individual who enjoys setting goals and accomplishing them and has the ability to work independently to meet or exceed goals
· Strong leadership qualities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
· Desired but not required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Sales or related field
· 2 years experience in sales with a strong track record of success in fields such as: construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, or industrial sales, etc.
· Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
