Waltonen is actively seeking a Fixture Builder to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Report to Independence Tooling Operations Manager
- Produce Machine Assembled Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, and Gauges
- Utilize blueprints, sketches, specifications, and descriptions to develop, machine, and assemble various tools
- Apply knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and assembly methods
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficiently use hand tools such as calipers and gauges
Qualifications
- Familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
- Prior assembly experience is required
- Ability to operate shop machinery effectively
- Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays as needed, with adaptability to fluctuating workloads
- Welding experience is preferred
