WAM USA is looking for an Industrial Costing Junior to join the WAM USA office (TX division)
The selected candidate, reporting to the Industrial Costing Industrial Senior, will be responsible for the following activities:
- Analyze products and understand their critical components to make improvement proposals to reduce costs;
- Budget/final cost analysis, understanding their critical issues to realign and improve reference standards;
- Implement make-or-buy analyses to reduce costs by comparing possible production processes with those applied by the company's suppliers.
To fill this position, the ideal candidate should have the following prerequisites:
- Degree in management engineering, business economics (or equivalent qualification) or diploma accompanied by significant work experience in the role.
- at least a couple of years of experience in cost analysis in the technical/production field.
- Knowledge and reading of technical drawings.
- Knowledge of production times and methods.
- Ability to make cost assessments on certain components and associate a work cycle.
- Good knowledge of the Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP management is a plus.
- Good analysis skills.
- Availability to travel (approximately 5-6 times a year to another branch of the WAM USA group).
