What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Office Career (No Experience Required) position at WAM Software, Inc.?
We are a software company that has provided outstanding service to our clients for many years in a recession-proof industry. We are a small business who sells and supports our industry-specific software to clients all over the U.S.
Our office environment is fast paced, mentally challenging and rewarding. We need someone who is smart enough to quickly learn how to use our software and determined enough to master it. After initial training, your job would mostly consist of answering phone calls from clients and helping them to understand our software.
We do not require experience, but we do require the following skills:
- Learns Quickly - If you are the one people come to for help in using their new phone, then you are the one we are looking for. If you have trouble operating your own phone, then this job is probably not for you.
- Works Hard - Our workdays usually fly by because we move quickly and work hard. If you’ve previously worked in a fast-paced environment and liked it, then you are the one we are looking for; if doing so stresses you out, then you are not.
- Customer Service Skills - While the customer may not always be right, they are always important. You must know how to talk with all types of people no matter what mood they are in, or you are in, so they feel that you have listened to them, understand them, and genuinely care about helping them. You must be a good listener that enjoys talking to people on the phone and listening to what they have to say.
- Good at keeping a Mon-Fri 7am-4pm schedule - Even if you have all the skills listed above, we still need you to be here at the time our clients need you.
Our starting compensation is decent. More importantly, once you learn our software and are competent in using it, your compensation increases significantly. You will get more details on this on our “Jobs” web page and during your employment interview.
We will be looking to fill two positions, specifically. A trainer and a tech support representative.
