Land Analyst

Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the full life cycle of land deals through acquisition, contract and
invoice review, project familiarization, and support of project management and construction hand off.
Responsibilities include coordinating payments, participating in acquisition strategy development, conducting
market analysis, and creating acquisition reports. Additionally, the position involves attending meetings,
maintaining an organized filing system, and utilizing project management software to support various land
acquisition and development processes.


Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Process Improvement: Work closely with team members across departments to
understand roles, workflows, and decision-making processes. Offer insights for improving operational
efficiency.
- Land Development Partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for processing invoices, contracts, and
coordinating payments with contractors/consultants. Attend on-site meetings and key seminars to build
and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Acquisition and Administrative Support: Assist in underwriting and evaluating land acquisition
opportunities, including preparing Letters of Intent (LOIs). Maintain organized documentation and assist
with vendor onboarding. Submit invoices and contracts within the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Technological and Analytical Proficiency: Become proficient in software tools used by the Land
Development team (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Bluebeam, Monday.com). Utilize technology to assist in
project tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Market and Development Analysis: Participate in due diligence for acquisitions, create market
comparison reports, and update project budgets and schedules with actual data. Review civil and
landscape plans as part of the acquisition process.
- Department Support and Strategic Planning: Familiarize yourself with ongoing projects, including
budgets, cash flows, and schedules. Learn about Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) and their role in
development. Support on-site construction management as needed. Participate in quarterly strategic
planning sessions to align land acquisition and development goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree already completed is required with industry related degree.
- Land project internship experience a plus.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Essential Functions:
- Report to the Office daily, Monday through Friday, to adhere to schedule that can include weekends,
holidays, and after hours to meet deadlines.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.

- Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation that meets job responsibilities
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Maintain at least minimum car insurance required by Texas law
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
