The Job:
- Get to know each dog's unique traits and preferences while delivering personalized care and attention tailored to their needs
- Oversee and engage with our canine guests during group activity, monitoring their level of play and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Feed meals prepared by the front office and administer medications as directed, monitor food and water intake, and document eating habits
- Keep the play and sleeping areas clean, sanitized and well-maintained
- Capture photos and videos for use in social posts and owner updates
- Assist the team with any additional tasks required to ensure top-notch care for our dogs
- Be punctual for shifts and show a strong dedication to being dependable and accountable.
What's Required:
- Must love dogs and people!
- Previous experience in a dog daycare or boarding facility is a big plus!
- Dependability is an absolute must in this role - it's essential to show up for scheduled shifts consistently and on time
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills are a necessity; you'll be managing multiple dogs and tasks all at once
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Effective communicator with both people and dogs, strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Comfortable interacting with dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Willingness to learn and adhere to our high standards of care, safety, and cleanliness
- Physical stamina for supervising, playing with, and cleaning up after dogs throughout your shift, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexibility with scheduling, as weekend and holiday availability is required
- Dependable transportation and availability to work in all weather conditions

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
