Waneka Park Assisted Living is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join our environmental services team!
$1000 Retention Bonus!!!
WAGE RANGE: $16.50 - $17.50
Shift- Tues through Sat or Sun through Thurs

As an important member of our team, the Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Waneka Park standards.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Emptying, cleaning, and relining all waste receptacles
- Ensuring routine cleaning of all restrooms/bathrooms, including fixtures, exposed plumbing, walls and floors. Keeping facility supplied with paper towels, soap and other needed items.
- Washing walls, windows, doors and door frames.
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
- Ensures any cords, carts, equipment and other hazards are kept out of the way at all times, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required
- Must be able to read and speak English.
- Experience working with seniors or in senior living preferred
