Overview:
Looking to gain practical and meaningful experience in a real estate investment company? Wangard Partners, Inc. is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join the team as a C-Suite Intern. This part-time position will work with the Chief Executive Officer of Wangard Partners, Inc. and others gaining insight into the organization’s operations and strategic decision making. Over the course of the internship, the intern will participate in leadership development, engage with senior-level business leaders, explore and problem solve multifaceted business challenges, and build skills to prepare for a career in real estate investment and development. Primary Duties:
- Shadow the Chief Executive Officer: participate in meetings and presentations, preparing necessary meeting Agendas and preparation and follow-up communications with meeting participants.
- Assist with research, analysis, and planning for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with other department team interns to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Experience/Education:
- Candidate with high degree of integrity, communication skills, and work ethic
- Currently enrolled college student seeking degree in finance, real estate, or business
- Ability to simultaneously understand details and their relationship to the “big picture”
- Comfortable with MS Windows and MS Office

Physical Demands
Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The employee will be regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
Attendance/Travel
This position is a part-time hourly position. This position also requires regular attendance and active participation/planning at all company functions and events.
