Overview : Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing various marketing initiatives to support the property management department's marketing goals for our Multifamily communities. This highly engaging role involves creating exciting content from the ground up, managing social media accounts, and developing engaging and attractive marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to create and implement social media content strategies to promote individual multifamily properties. This involves generating engaging and visually appealing photography and video across social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Manage and monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages promptly, analyze social media metrics, and report to the Director of Marketing on performance providing insights for improving content performance
- Conduct weekly audits of the property websites and the Wangard website to ensure content is up to date and accurate to include rental rate verification through Yardi
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute various marketing campaigns to include the creation of property specific marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and the Leasing Manager to develop strategies to increase lease conversion rates.
- In collaboration with the Leasing Manager and the Director of Marketing, create and maintain a Resident Ambassador Program
- Coordinate with property managers at each location to schedule the promotion of resident activities and events to drive community engagement.
- Schedule and engage property level virtual tours to enhance marketing campaigns. Capture high-quality still images and videos to enhance the online experience and increase conversion rates.
- Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Marketing, provide social media engagement training for on-site property staff (brand representation, tactics to support)
- In coordination with the Director of Marketing, prepare marketing budgets and plans for properties
- Create engaging marketing videos during construction to promote awareness and enhance leasing efforts through lease-up
- Increase brand recognition through corporate outreach concerning our preferred employer program.
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Required Skills :
Marketing Expertise : Proven track record in developing and executing successful organic and social media marketing campaigns, ideally within the real estate or multifamily industry.
Physical Demands
Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The employee will be regularly required to sit, stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision; distance vision; color vision; depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and / or visual alarms and be available to work extended / flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
