Position Overview

The responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing Shopping Cart sales to existing customers as well as selling products and / or services over the phone and via email and ensure that Wanzl North America delivers the highest quality customer experience.

This role will report directly to the Director of Sales. Their primary role is to manage Cart sales by supporting the Directors, Key Account Managers, and National Account Managers but to also assist in identifying opportunities in these accounts and prospective accounts for other WNA Products and Services.

This position will be located at the Corporate Headquarters for Wanzl North America (WNA) in Denver NC.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Drive for results, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • The ISR role will have a primary responsibility to collect information, data and insight using various methods, to qualify targeted leads into sales opportunities.
  • Reach out to leads and initiate contact to understand their needs, educate them about our products and services, and qualify their interest/potential as customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key cart customers and accounts.
  • Collaborate with NAM and KAM team members on overall sales efforts for assigned accounts to ensure overall sales goals are achieved.
  • Diligently update Smartsheet/CRM to reflect active client updates, new opportunities, and progress toward revenue closure.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers. Follow up on sales inquiries and ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Primarily for the cart business, the ISR will track and analyze sales data, such as volume, sales trends, and revenue, to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • The ISR will provide quarterly client/industry reviews using various methods to present NAM/KAM and Leadership with growth opportunities for assigned active clients.
  • Interact with and support the Customer Service team on cart and issue handling.
  • Partner with Director, NAM, KAM on an as needed basis to support tender/RFP activities to ensure client timelines and needs are met.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)
  • 2-Year associate degree required
  • 4-Year bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong rapport-building skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Customer Service/Inside Sales
  • Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and Excel
  • Understanding of CRM and Pipeline Management
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills (especially over the phone and video calls)
  • Travel 5% or more, as needed.
