Description
The Program Coordinator will be essential in supporting the planning, implementation, and management of our foundation's programs and initiatives, all designed to positively impact our community. Additionally, the coordinator will oversee donation inquiries and volunteer opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the program team to develop program objectives, strategies, and action plans.
- Assist in creating program lesson plans, onboarding, and resource allocation
- Assist in organizing workshops, events, and activities related to the program
- Support the coordination of volunteer opportunities for participants of the program and potential volunteers
- Collaborate on strategizing and implementing optimal fundraising opportunities for LLL Foundation
- Maintain regular communication with program participants, foster care organizations, and partners
- Assist in drafting program-related content for newsletters, social media, and website updates
- Track program progress and milestones, reporting any deviations to the program lead Prepare regular reports on program resources, outcomes, and challenges
- Maintain accurate records of program-related documents, agreements, and participant information
- Collect feedback from program participants to assess program effectiveness
- Contribute to post-program evaluations and assist in implementing improvements
- Conduct monthly check ins with interns
- Provide general administrative support, including email organization, scheduling, and communication coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in arts – (Preferred Focus - Program, Non-Profit, Social Work, Human Services) or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in program coordination, event planning, or nonprofit work is desirable.
- Grant writing experience specifically for nonprofit.
- Strong written verbal communication skills including presentation skills are required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Effective time management skills to meet program deadlines.
- Genuine interest in nonprofit work and community development.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
- Travel is required up to 10%
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to work onsite.
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish preferable
- Able to develop and drive ideas from conception to goal.
- Experience with youth development or youth mentoring programing.
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
