The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. They will work closely with our skilled medical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing general surgical cases, minor nerve blocks, plexus anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and regional anesthesia.
- Insert arterial lines as needed.
- Evaluate and manage acute volume/BP issues.
Patient Care Requirements
- Anesthetize adult patients and obstetrical cases.
- Perform pain management procedures for acute pain.
Credentials and Licensure
- Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA).
- Active license to practice medicine in Maine or ability to obtain one through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- Ongoing ACLS and BLS certification.
