We are seeking a physician (MD or DO) to provide Emergency Department coverage in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Physician Responsibilities
- 12 hour shifts with main need for night shifts (8p-8a), with some day shifts possible
- APP double coverage from 10a-10 p
Facility Details
- Annual ED volume: 17K
- EMR: Cerner/Meditech
- Typical credentialing timeline: 6-8 weeks
Physician Requirements
- Iowa medical license and DEA/CSA
- Board certification in EM
- Required life support certifications:
- ATLS
- ACLS
- PALS (waived for ABEM/AOBEM physicians)
- Mandatory Reporter Training of dependent adult & child abuse (MRT)
- Covid/Flu vaccinations required; exemptions may be requested
