About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Medical Director for Elderly Care to join our team at Mercy LIFE MA. As a medical director, you will oversee the delivery of medical care to our participants, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care possible.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the delivery of medical care to participants, including assessment, development of care plans, and evaluation of treatment effectiveness
- Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
- Managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis
- Conducting routine check-ups, health screenings, and vaccinations
- Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- A board certification in Geriatric Medicine or Family Medicine
- MA licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with frail or elderly populations
- CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration
- BLS (prior to start)
- Clean/Clear malpractice
