What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Teacher - Anticipated Probationary position at Wappingers Central School District?
The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill anticipated Elementary Teacher positions for the 2025-26 school year with an effective start date of on or about September 2, 2025. These are full-time probationary tenure-track positions. The WCSD offers competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, professional development, and mentor support.
Only those candidates holding valid NYSED certifications in Childhood Education (B-2) and/or Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) will be considered. Although the certification required for the position is specific, the school in which the position will be located has yet to be determined.
NOTE: The three letters of recommendation required MUST bear the writers' actual signature and all letters must be dated and less than 18 months old.
