Our brand leverages super-premium spirits to foster the preservation, restoration, education, and visitation of local and regional sites of historical significance.

War Cannon Spirits has a robust pending product pipeline and seeks an individual interested in educating consumers on our boutique spirits at events throughout Albany, Saratoga, and Warren counties.

This important role will be the face of our brand in Albany, Saratoga, and Warren counties. Our Brand Ambassador will showcase products and host events and tastings while sharing our company’s and our strategic partner’s history with the community. The role will require organizing liquor store, bar, and restaurant tastings and attending industry events, including indoor and outdoor markets and festivals.

Qualifications

• Passion and knowledge for distilled spirits and history.
• Mixology experience is helpful but not required.
• Prior experience with group interactions, presentations, and/or working events.
• Availability and willingness to travel with products for tasting/sales events.
• Positive and friendly, demonstrates excellent customer service.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.

• . Must be able to sample the product and effectively communicate product benefits
• Always practice 100% compliance with all TTB and NYS Liquor Authority laws and directives.
• Ability to lift cases of 6 to 12 750ml bottles.
• Standing up to 12 hours per day on occasion.
• Able to occasionally work outside in all weather conditions (farm markets and festivals).
• Have at least two years of customer service/hospitality experience (Required).
• NYS Driver's License (Required).
• Willingness to travel 75% (Required).
• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• We seek a full-time Brand Ambassador to arrange tastings, attend industry events, and staff outside market/festivals.
• Work directly with the company founder.
• Arrive at events/meetings on time.
• Travel to assigned store or event locations.
• Transport, set-up, and breakdown of any equipment, product, and marketing materials at off-site events.
• Educate customers on the product offering, brand history, and that of our partners on regional bottle variants.
• Sell bottles at farmers' markets and festivals.

· Comfort in challenging situations or dealing with temperamental attitudes.

• Other duties assigned to support the business may include inventory of supplies, transfer of supplies, etc.
• Have reliable transportation to travel with tasting products and supplies.

· Constant communication with the team’s leadership.

· Proper mixology and/or product knowledge. Training can be provided.

· Available to work some weekends, most often between May and October.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
