Responsibilities Include
- Direct and oversee all policies and procedures for the financial operations of managed care contracts.
- Manage contracts, negotiates and set rates, and review reimbursement levels and managed care agreements to ensure that proper payment practices are utilized.
- Manage revenue/expense reporting and control systems, report generation, forecasting models, and reconciliation procedures.
- Monitor, report and explain variances to approved budget; address variances and present alternatives for achieving the goals.
- Plan, provide resources and direct activities for provider financial analysis and provides analytics for strategic and operating decisions.
- Lead contract modeling process.
- Manage financial analysis of medical cost.
- Manage capitation calculation and payment.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
- MBA or CPA
- Minimum 5 years’ healthcare financial management experience Knowledge
- Strong managed care finance experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial forecasting and modeling
- Knowledge of database reporting tools to assist in preparing analysis
