Job Description
WarCollar is seeking Cryptologic Computer Scientist of all skill levels for a variety of roles to support core Intelligence Community (IC) missions.
As a Cryptologic Computer Scientist, you will design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. Solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution, protection or critical networks, active systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. Requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, databased theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structure) are applied to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools and approaches.
Required Skills
Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active Top Secret clearance with Secure Compartmented Information (TS / SCI), and have a positively adjudicated polygraph to be considered for this position.
Education :
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics (including Applied Math) or a related field (i.e. other Engineering or Math) with at least one programming and at least four upper-level math classes (Calculus and above), required.
Levels determined based on type of degree and years of experience.
Level 1
2 years applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
4 years’ applicable experience with associate degree
Level 2
2 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
3 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
5 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
7 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree
Level 3
4 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
6 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
8 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
10 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree
Level 4
7 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
9 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
11 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
13 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree
