Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling service requests for our HVAC and Plumbing technicians. Your exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and effective communication will ensure the smooth operation of our field service operations.

What we need done:

• Receive incoming service requests from customers and assess the urgency and nature of the issue.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments for service technicians based on availability and customer needs.
• Dispatch technicians to service locations efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and track the progress of service requests, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain open communication with customers, providing updates on technician arrival times and any changes to the schedule throughout the day.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of service calls, including customer information, job details, and technician assignments.
• Collaborate with technicians to address scheduling conflicts and optimize routes for efficient service delivery.
• Prioritize urgent service requests and manage emergency situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Who we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, dispatching software, CRM, and communication devices.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems and terminology is advantageous.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and handle emergency calls, as needed.
• Engaging personality that blends well in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Highly motivated self-starter who is flexible and has a positive attitude.

• Ability to pass a motor vehicle and criminal background check.
