Duties And Responsibilities
- Successfully completes product and system knowledge based training.
- Perform duties related to lead generation activities to include prospecting and account management.
- Conducts high volume outbound contact through the use of telephone calls, emails, or other social media tools to qualify lead streams and prospects for customer growth and development.
- Have an understanding of key background questions to qualify account potential by uncovering product & service needs in a professional and positive manner. Understanding of the competitive arena within each account and leveraging our products and services to meet customer expectations.
- Consistent direct communication with the Outside Logistic Solutions Managers to effectively hand-off customers based on identified potential of LTL or Vertical Product Solutions. Follow up and accountability with assisting potential account opportunities relating to hand-offs directly with the outside Logistic Solutions Managers.
- Consistently striving to improve Service Center capacity and efficiencies through consistent communication with each Service Center Manager on specific business growth needs with a focus on lead streams, dormant accounts, driver and customer service leads.
- Ability to adjust and adapt to Marketing initiatives and emphasis within a specific Service Center area to assist in uncovering new account opportunities.
- Understanding how to interpret customer reports regarding dormant account trend history, past call note history and current pricing programs established.
- Demonstrates One Ward commitment to teamwork and support of team and company goals.
- Demonstrates personal reliability by consistently meeting attendance/punctuality commitments.
- Work closely with Salesforce software.
- Work closely with sales leadership, sales and operations to develop a strategy in line and targeted with the goals of the organization.
- Work closely with leadership to develop a strong foundation to support sales growth.
Requirements
- Must have a passion for sales and sales activities; prior sales experience preferred but not required.
- Goal oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task on daily basis.
- Excellent communication skills to include both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
