Family Intervention Crisis Services of Centre County – IMMEDIATE OPENING -- Bachelor’s degree in social service field required, will consider experience as well. A social service agency that provides services within the child welfare system. We are currently hiring one In-home FICS Counselor. Each position offers flexibility in scheduling but does include nights to meet the needs of families and weekends as needed. Within the agency there is a focus on self-growth and a team approach to foster support for one another and to offer effective interventions to our clients so they can make necessary changes. Staff are offered trauma informed specific training with opportunity for a clinical certification. Services are provided in person at the agency, in the home, and/or at a placement location. Position is full-time salary and offers medical/dental/vision insurance (low cost to employee) as well as paid time off following a probationary period. In addition, you will also receive a travel stipend. A 401K is offered after one year of employment with a company match (certain percentage cap) and a Life Insurance policy is also offered.
