About the role
We’re looking for a marketing superstar who can take our marketing from near-zero to 1, with a particular focus on product marketing. This role is critical in positioning Warden effectively in the market and articulating a nuanced proposition in a rapidly evolving space (AI trust and compliance).
As our first marketing hire, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy, from brand positioning and messaging to content and sales enablement. Initially, this will be a senior individual contributor role, with the opportunity to grow a team as the business scales.
We are looking for a T-shaped marketer who is a marketing generalist with a strong skillset in product marketing. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited about shaping a new category.
What you’ll be working on
- Positioning & Messaging – Developing and refining market positioning and key messages for different personas and segments (HR Tech vendors, enterprises using AI in HR, regulators, etc.).
- Sales Enablement – Creating and optimizing sales collateral (decks, one-pagers, case studies) to support revenue growth.
- Content & Thought Leadership – Define the content strategy and oversee the development of compelling marketing content (e.g. ghostwritten LinkedIn posts, newsletters, nurture emails, blog posts, case studies, website content) that will fuel the inbound funnel and shape the responsible AI conversation.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence – Understanding the competitive landscape, tracking industry trends, and identifying opportunities to position Warden uniquely.
- Industry Events & Conferences – Supporting Warden’s presence at key industry conferences by developing event strategies.
- Brand Identity & Website – Evaluate a potential rebranding and improving on our website messaging and design, and ensuring a consistent look and feel across touch-points.
- Demand Generation & SEO – Putting the fundamentals in place for demand generation engine, and improving search rankings for key industry terms (e.g., NYC Local Law 144, AI bias audits).
