This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment within the school district. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the school district
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and other areas of the school
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisors
- Lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- First aid certification
- Excellent communication skills
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The noise level is usually moderate, and the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals commonly used in instruction and/or cleaning.
