We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, customer focused, retail salesclerk to join our team at our West Enfield, Maine location. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer focused attitude.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this position provides prompt, courteous service to customers in the store and on the phone, processes sales, returns, payments to accounts, and maintains the store appearance and merchandising. This position will have specific retail sales focus and will require cooperation with all supervisory staff, delivery drivers, and store personnel.

Responsibilities:

Follow all company policies and safety standards.
Assist customers in the store in a prompt, professional manner.
Assist customers on the phone and directs calls as needed.
Handles cash and other media with integrity.
Stock merchandise and maintain a clean and welcoming store.
Assists store manager with inventory maintenance.
Perform tasks deemed necessary by supervisory staff.

Requirements:

Basic computing skills and familiarity with Excel and Word.
Ability to respond to customers.
Ability to read, understand, and act upon written language.
Ability to perform basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist repeatedly throughout the work day.
Working Conditions:

This position is performed in a temperature-controlled environment. The Retail Salesperson may be asked to perform duties outside that are in an open warehouse or in the elements where they may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, and rain.
