Responsibilities
The Outside Sales Representative will cultivate and grow key relationships with customers and prospective customers, including drywall subcontractors, project engineers, and architects, to drive market share and profitable revenue growth in keeping with Company objectives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years of success selling construction or related building products to contractors, distributors, architects and engineers in a fast paced, results driven, just in time service environment
- Knowledge of blue prints, architectural specifications/design, structural engineering and construction management strongly preferred
- Success selling cold-formed steel highly desirable
- A voracious competitive spirit, strategic mindset, the ability to engage and positively impact individuals/groups and superior communications/presentation skills
- Strong service orientation and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to travel extensively daily and some overnight travel required; must have a valid and clean driver's license
