Responsibilities:
- Prepares and conducts client presentations while meeting project goals.
- Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with clients.
- Follow projects from inception through construction in order to maintain design quality and intent.
- Conducts programming efforts to facilitate space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment.
- Responsible for selection and specification of FFE, all finish materials and artwork. Understands material requirements and preliminary costs.
- Supports the Construction Administration phase responding to RFI’s, CO’s, and reviews shop drawings.
- Keeping the project team on schedule and on budget while providing a cohesive design.
- Coordinates with Project Managers.
- May mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff in correctly documenting design.
- Implements and uses the best practices of Ware Malcomb for all projects and processes.
- Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and Ware Malcomb team members.
- Contributes in office activities and involved in design community organizations.
- 7 years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to create complete presentation packages is essential.
- Proficiency in the basic technical skills of interior design including the following computer skills:
- Proficiency in Deltek Vision.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Newforma.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Sketch up graphic software.
- Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as Enscape and Lumion preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of building regulations and safety codes.
