Ware Public Schools is seeking a reliable and adaptable Building-Based Substitute Teacher to provide consistent support to students and staff. This full-time role ensures coverage across grade levels and subject areas, fostering a positive learning environment in the absence of regular teachers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver pre-planned lessons or create instructional activities aligned with the curriculum when necessary.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure student engagement during instructional time.
• Support daily operations, including assisting with supervision during transitions, lunch, or recess.
• Adapt to various grade levels and subjects, providing flexibility and a willingness to learn.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents regarding daily activities or concerns.
• Uphold school policies, procedures, and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred (education-related field preferred).
• Previous teaching or classroom experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks.

Monday – Friday, 7:50-2:35, based at Ware Junior Senior High School
