Position Summary:
Are you an energetic Instructional Designer with strong communication skills looking for the opportunity to design engaging and effective instructional content for multiple audiences on a fast-paced, innovative team? As an Instructional Designer at Ware2Go, you will be responsible for designing and developing insightful instructional materials that improve the employee, client, and/or partner experience. In this role, you will work closely across teams to simplify complex scenarios and processes in a creative, clear, and concise way. You will use instructional design and adult learning principles to plan, design, develop, and publish instructional materials in various formats for our internal and external knowledge bases.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining instructional content that engages employees, clients, or warehouse partners while informing them of processes and best practices.
- Building out our Salesforce knowledge bases, allowing internal team members, clients, and warehouse partners to leverage written articles, visual tutorials, and high-quality videos that support the client and partner experience.
- Collaborating with Client Services, Operations, Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other SMEs across the firm to develop content that addresses internal and external instructional needs.
- Understanding the needs of internal team members, clients, and/or warehouse partners and how educational content can make them successful.
Working cross functionally to align how we educate employees, clients, and warehouse partners to leverage our technology and systems to achieve the desired business outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or a related field.
- Experience designing and developing multiple forms of instructional materials (e.g., visual tutorials, job aids, eLearning courses, curriculum, in-person training courses, hybrid training, facilitator guides).
- Experience producing high-quality instructional videos and images using various editing software (e.g., Camtasia, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Understanding of and experience applying instructional design models/principles/best practices and theories of adult learning.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with internal and external audiences.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent grasp of technology and applications.
Preferred Qualifications: (Optional)
- Experience in logistics and the supply chain industry and/or SAAS technology experience.
- Experience managing an ever-evolving knowledge base and keeping all of its content up to date.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing learning programs for new hires, clients, and/or business partners.
- Understanding of training tools and processes.
- Experience using Salesforce.
