What are the responsibilities and job description for the ANTICIPATED LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER position at Wareham Middle School?
This is a position that will begin 3/10/2025 and is a 12-week leave of absence position. The long term substitute will teach PE classes to Grade 5-7. Responsibilities include:
1. Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students
2. Strong understanding of the MA Curriculum Framework for PE
3. Plans and provides instruction for PE classes and interventions
4. Follows established curriculum
5. Assesses students and documents progress on Power School
6.Works directly with the unified arts department chairpersons
7. Works collaboratively with PE team partner and other staff
