What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist position at Warehouse and Logistics?
Position may include keeping lab records, following safety guidelines, reviewing SDS, compilation of ingredients for review and reporting, reporting results, quality-control measurements, microscopic analysis, formula troubleshooting, and in vitro measurements in addition to formulation work, e.g. batching, conducting/tracking/organizing stability studies, filling and labeling samples, submitting requests for testing, etc. May require bending and lifting up to 25 kg, and operation of bench-scale manufacturing and analytical equipment.
Qualifications and Experience: B.S. or B.A. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline required. Prior cosmetic or pharmaceutical lab experience is preferred but not required. Ideal candidate is efficient and a quick learner with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid references required.
