Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft A Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn and use proprietary quoting
.
- Strong knowledge of truck and equipment capabilities, and various load types including Intermodal, Dry Vans,
and Flatbed
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to follow up with customers to obtain complete informa?on.
- Command of English language and grammar to effec?vely communicate within the Company and externally to
our Customers.
- Capable of quickly learning new technologies and systems relevant to quo?ng processes.
- Ability to maintain organiza?on and discipline within a fast-paced environment
- Strong maths skills for preparing accurate quotes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with quoting and provide customer follow-up as part of the Quotes Team.
- Maintain high levels of service and support in preparing quotes in a ?mely and accurate manner.
- Follow up on prepared and delivered quotes and remotely aTend weekly department mee?ngs.
- Learn and adapt to new technological rollouts related to the support of the Quotes Department.
- Perform other du?es and tasks as directed by the Quotes and Pricing Manager.
Measures of Performance:
- Adherence to the established quote process and ?mely, accurate prepara?on of quotes using the TMW System
metrics.
- High level of customer satisfaction in relation to the Quotes Department.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
