Floor Team Member

Warehouse Cinemas is a locally-owned movie theater company dedicated to creating moments worth remembering for our guests. Independently owned and operated, our flagship location in Frederick, Maryland offers first-run films, luxury recliners, and exceptional picture and sound in every auditorium. The spacious lounge area includes a full bar with 28 taps of self-serve craft beer, a quick-serve concession stand with classic and new food favorites, and plenty of hang-out areas for making memories with friends pre/post movie.

Floor Team Members serve guests in a variety of roles, and support our management staff in the day-to-day operations of the cinema. In any given shift, Floor Team Members may assist guests at our ticket kiosks, work the concession stand, and direct guests to their seats. We're looking for hard-working candidates with a positive attitude, and stellar customer service skills to join our team!

Duties include:

• Greet and thank guests in a friendly and helpful manner
• Check guest tickets, and direct guests to correct auditorium and seats
• Assist guests and answer questions
• Work in various roles including concessions, ticket-taker, usher, tap-wall, barback, cleaning, etc. depending on shift assignment
• Complete tasks thoroughly according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and management direction
• Utilize the POS system to enter guest orders
• Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment in an honest, accurate and efficient manner
• Properly ID guests to serve alcohol behind concessions (only staff who are of legal age to sell or serve alcohol)
• Clean and/or sanitize equipment, seats, floors, counters, and various areas of the facility according to company protocols and supervisor direction
• Operate, monitor, and clean all concessions equipment including, but not limited to, popcorn popper, slushie machine, and drink taps
• Work in the kitchen, filling orders accurately and according to company health, safety, and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Other duties as assigned according to the needs of the operation and the direction of management
• Respond to emergency situations according to company safety and standard operating procedures, and using critical thinking skills

Requirements:

• Able to work onsite at our location in Frederick, MD
• Minimum age requirement: Age 16 or over
• Open availability strongly preferred with ability to workdays, evenings, weekend and holiday shifts as required
• Able to speak English fluently. Ability to speak in Spanish fluently, or converse in American Sign Language (ASL) a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Able to ascend and descend using a ladder
• Able to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, often in a repetitive manner throughout shift
