HAYS KANSAS BASED COMPANY SEEKING: a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic Federated Auto Parts team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing this designated territory.
- Applicants could also live in Southern Kansas area.
- As a Sales Representative you must show the ability to call on and provide service to established wholesale accounts, as well as call on prospective customers to secure new business relationships.
- The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of automotive and/or agriculture equipment with previous sales experience preferred.
- We welcome all applicants who have a positive attitude and show excellent customer service skills.
- This position is a base salary plus commission with a break-over bonus plan attached allowing for continued salary growth .
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Applicant must be available to work Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Some overnight travel may be required.
- Must be Self Motivated and career driven with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable using basic computer software, email programs and the willingness to learning new technology.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills -- in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Must have a current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record & be able to meet driving insurance guidelines.
- Be able to maintain professional business relationships to ensure account retention, growth and client satisfaction.
- Presentation of new items and sales promotions during each visit.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Process return goods from wholesale customers while on assigned routes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in parts delivering as needed.
- Clean and maintain supplied Company Vehicle
