What are the responsibilities and job description for the Semi Tire Technician position at Warehouse On Wheels?
In this exciting role, you’ll use your expertise to ensure our fleet remains in peak condition, performing key tasks such as:
Tire Dismounting and Mounting: Expertise in safely and efficiently removing and installing semi-truck tires of all sizes, including performing proper bead seating, balancing, and ensuring tire alignment.
DOT Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, identifying any tire-related issues, and taking proactive steps to maintain safety standards.
Tire Repairs and Maintenance: Identifying and repairing tire issues, including patching, plugging, and sidewall repairs, while ensuring tires are roadworthy and optimized for performance.
Fleet Management: Maintaining detailed records of tire conditions, repairs, and replacements to ensure accurate tracking of the fleet’s needs.
Knowledge of Tire Brands and Models: Familiarity with a wide range of tire brands, models, and specifications for semi-trucks, including understanding wear patterns, tread depth requirements, and optimal tire pressure.
Safety and Efficiency: Prioritizing safety while working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are performed with precision and within established timeframes.
- Roadside Assistance: Be ready to perform tire repairs at the roadside, providing fast and reliable service to our customers when they need it the most.

- Monday- Friday Schedule (6:30am -3:30pm)
- WEEKLY PAY with Bonus potential received Monthly and Quarterly

- Extensive knowledge of tire patterns and material composition
- Ability to lift heavy objects. (50 lbs.)
- Work in a crouched or standing position for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Proven work experience as a tire shop mechanic (1 year)
- Pass DOT Physical and Motor Vehicle Record check and drug screen
- Valid Driver’s license (Required)
