Active Warehouse Account Manager

The Account Manager (AM) – This position is responsible for customer relationships and managing customers products which includes, inventory management, pick pack and shipping. The AM will represent the company in day-to-day customer contacts and will be responsible for all customer needs as it pertains to their products and enhancing long-term relationships to meet company goals.

This position will be a full-time employee reporting to the General Manager. The AM will have direct responsibility for high profile accounts. The AM will be accountable for new customer deployments, new product launches, managing daily transaction volume and ensuring customer satisfaction. The AM will be the primary point of contact for each assigned account and as such will be highly available and responsive to their customer needs.

Responsibilities and Core Functions

• This job is an active warehouse job. It will require both fulfillment / packing of orders and leading a small team of people as you communicate with the client on changing needs and deadlines. It will be most of the day on your feet at a standing workstation with computer in the warehouse.
• Provide and direct regular meetings with clients to enhance relationships. Communication with clients via email and/or phone.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of the contractual agreement and terms between the client and the company.
• Responsible for managing the entire relationship with customers; working with Sales at the close of a deal to transition the customer to the account management process; managing the launch & integration process.
• Independently provide suggestive feedback and apply strategic knowledge to improve processes for your assigned customers.
• Ensure that all client’s customer orders are processed each day.

Daily Activities Include:

• Ensure all client orders are shipped on a daily basis.
• Prepare shipping labels and documents for outbound shipments via parcel (USPS, FedEx, UPS) and other types of shipping.
• Schedule outbound pick-ups via trucking as necessary.
• Trouble-shoot and solve customer problems and needs.
• Use warehouse management software to manage orders and inventory on a daily basis (training provided).
• Answering emails and phone calls.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills; strong telephone skills and articulation; high multitasking abilities and organizational skills; proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• The employee must be self-motivated, goal oriented, must have a professional appearance.
• Ability to stand/walk for the full 8 hour shift. Standing workstation in warehouse.

Education and Experience

• College Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience Required: At least two years of account management with complex accounts, customer service and/or sales experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 – 41 per week
