Summary
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating/building, organizing, and executing various casino promotions and events.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.- Executes of all facets of promotion and event schedule, including prize drawings, musical acts, and VIP experiences and casino marketing promotions. - Acts as a representative of the Casino at all off-property events and promotions, with the ability to travel both in and out of market areas. Finish - Responsible for project management and meeting timelines. Attention to detail and follow through.- Processes cash transactions in accordance with the policies set forth in Marketing Operations, to include but not limited to processing buy-ins, re-buys, and reel rewards for both table games and slot tournaments.- Sets up and runs audio and other types of equipment; hangs banners and other staging elements.- Sets up, breaks down and transports promotional event equipment as required.- Prepares contest rules, waivers, and release forms for digital, social media and other contests.• -- Supervises prize inventory and awarding of prizes at events.
- Updates and tracks internal spreadsheets that are relevant to the promotions department.- Distributes information internally to all company related departments in advance of all events and promotions.- Attends all applicable trainings, meetings, pre-shifts, check-ins, outreach, promotions with full knowledge of operating hours, and staffing,- Complies with marketing and promotions schedules which includes but is not limited to check ins, office time, meetings, visitations, and work shifts, in a timely and efficient manner.- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Performs routine kiosk cleaning.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.- Must be 21 years or older.- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.- Two (2) years casino marketing experience preferred.- Knowledge of casino marketing programs.- Proficient with Microsoft office Suite or related software; and casino specific software, CMS, LMS, EMS.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.- Ability to work with multiple team members.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. Weekend and evening availability is a must.
