What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing - The Cove position at Warm Hearth Village?
We are in search of an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our skilled nursing/rehabilitation patients and long term care residents on the Cove, a 60-bed skilled unit located within the Kroontje Health Care Center. Working in concert with the building’s Administrator and the Director of Nursing , the ADON is charged with ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of the Cove residents around their nursing care and living conditions. In addition, the ADON will work directly with the Director of Nursing on matters of healthcare oversight, including audits, in order to maintain the building’s compliance with state and federal regulations.
The ADON will also collaborate with the Administrator and the Director of Nursing to set goals, implement action plans, and measure the success of those actions over time. This position will be critical to both the day-to-day operations in the Cove and to the unit's long-term success. This role does serve in a rotating weekend call schedule with the buildings’ nursing leadership team.

Requirements:
- An active and valid RN license in the state of Virginia
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in caring for adults within a group care setting
