Warm Hearth Village is searching for dedicated Kitchen Assistants to become part of the team at the Kroontje Health Care Center.
FREE MEALS EVERY SHIFT YOU WORK!
No previous experience in food service is required--we're looking for people with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as a part of a team.
We provide company-paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA, along with uniforms and work shoes.
This position can be a stepping stone to further career opportunities throughout Warm Hearth Village and the wider healthcare field. This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.
Requirements:
- Must be vaccinated against COVID 19 with current up to date record or have a qualifying medical or religious exemption.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift
Shifts hiring for:
- Various shifts/hours for Full Time, Part Time and PRN.

Responsibilities:
- Greet residents upon arrival and serve them in a timely manner
- Assure dining room is cleaned and stocked
- Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment
- Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner according to local and state guidelines
- Communicate suggestions from residents to managers
- Assist in meal preparation
- Attend in-service trainings and department meetings
